At Common Horizon, we are building a mass movement of everyday people. We come together to take power away from the billionaire class and win solutions to the climate crisis that secure good jobs, address affordability and ensure a dignified life for all.
Common Horizon is made up of volunteer-run chapters in cities across Canada and Quebec. Our chapters receive support and resources from a dedicated movement coordination team. By organizing a mass movement we will build broad public support for climate solutions that make life better and more affordable for regular working people; and we will generate the public pressure needed to win them.
While everyday people struggle to get by amidst rising inflation and the vicious impacts of the climate crisis, corporate CEOs are raking in record profits. But it doesn't have to be this way. Solidarity Statement
We work in solidarity with Indigenous peoples to protect the land, water, and air for present and future generations. We acknowledge and respect Indigenous science, knowledge systems, and ways of relating. We recognize that Indigenous laws and jurisdiction are alive on the lands we live on. We do our best to learn about the agreements and laws that govern the land, and uphold our obligations to them.
